The Beginning of Forever

Our story started in the elevator of our apartment building. We were just two neighbors who happened to cross paths, but one elevator ride turned into dates, adventures, lots of laughs, and a life filled with lots of love!

What started as a simple hello became something so much more, and we couldn't be more excited for what's ahead.

A Sacred Celebration

We are deeply honored to exchange our vows in a full Catholic Mass at the Basilica of St. Josaphat — modeled after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, and a meaningful place to begin our married life.

Before the Ceremony

We kindly ask that guests wait to enjoy alcoholic beverages until after the ceremony. We want this time to feel especially meaningful and reverent as we begin our marriage together.

See Attire for dress guidance.

Saturday, May 8 · 1:30 PM

Please be seated by 1:15 — the ceremony begins promptly at 1:30.

Travel & Accommodations

Hotels

We recommend Milwaukee's Third Ward or downtown — close to the reception and full of great restaurants. We aren't holding a room block, but here are a few favorites nearby, all a short walk or quick rideshare away:

Getting Around

Milwaukee is easy to navigate. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is widely available, and the venues are a short drive apart. We recommend rideshare for the reception so you can enjoy the evening worry-free.

Ceremony Parking

The Basilica of St. Josaphat has a large parking lot on-site. Additional street parking is available on surrounding streets.

Reception Parking

The Pritzlaff building has nearby surface lots and street parking. We'll share specific parking details closer to the date.

Flying In

General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is about 15 minutes from downtown Milwaukee.

Our Favorite Spots

A few of our favorites: The Public Market, Saffron, and Lakeshore State Park.

FAQs

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Please arrive and be seated by 1:15 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 PM.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal. We welcome tuxedos and suits, but a nice dress shirt and tie with slacks works perfectly for the gents. For the ladies, midi dresses, fancy cocktail dresses, or floor-length gowns are all wonderful. We look forward to celebrating with everyone in style!
Is there parking available at the ceremony?
There is a parking lot available at the Basilica as well as additional street parking. Please allow for extra time to find a spot, as spaces may be limited.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony and reception are indoors. However, cocktail hour will be held outdoors. We will have heaters running, but we highly recommend bringing a jacket, blazer, or shawl to stay cozy while you sip.
Is there parking available at the reception?
There are a variety of parking options available, and we will share specific lot details closer to the date. However, since the drinks will be flowing and city navigation can be a puzzle, we highly recommend calling an Uber or Lyft so you can celebrate safely!
Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?
We've hired amazing professionals to handle the camera work during the ceremony! We kindly ask that you turn off your phones and cameras so you can be fully present with us. Once the reception starts, snap and share away!
Can I bring my children?
While we adore all the little ones in our lives, our wedding will be a largely adults-only affair, with exceptions made only for immediate family. When formal invitations arrive, your digital RSVP tab will show exactly how many seats have been reserved for your household. We hope you can use this as an excuse for a fun parents' night out!
