Seth proposing to Bailey on the beach at sunset

The Beginning of Forever

On a golden evening by the water, with the sun setting and hearts full, Seth got down on one knee — and the answer was the easiest yes of Bailey's life.

Now we're inviting our favorite people to celebrate the next chapter with us. We can't wait to see you there.

A Sacred Celebration

We are deeply honored to exchange our vows in a full Catholic Mass at the Basilica of St. Josaphat — modeled after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, and a meaningful place to begin our married life.

Out of respect for the sacrament, we kindly ask that guests refrain from consuming alcohol before the ceremony. See Attire for dress guidance.

Saturday, May 8 · 1:30 PM

Please be seated by 1:15 — the ceremony begins promptly at 1:30.

Dinner, Drinks & Dancing

After the ceremony, join us at The Pritzlaff in Milwaukee's historic Third Ward for dinner, cocktails, and dancing the night away.

Dinner is catered by Zilli Hospitality Group.

Formal Attire

We're celebrating in style. Here's a guide to help you feel your best — both at the Basilica and the reception.

For the Gentlemen

  • Dark suit or tuxedo
  • Dress shirt with tie or bow tie
  • Dress shoes (polished)
  • Pocket square optional but encouraged
  • Dark, muted colors preferred

For the Ladies

  • Floor-length or cocktail-length gown
  • Shoulders covered for the church ceremony
  • Elegant wrap or shawl works beautifully
  • Dressy separates are welcome
  • Please avoid white, ivory, or cream
As we're celebrating in a basilica, we kindly ask that attire be respectful of the sacred setting — shoulders and knees covered for the ceremony. A beautiful wrap, shawl, or jacket does the trick.

Travel & Accommodations

Hotels

We recommend Milwaukee's Third Ward or downtown — close to the reception and full of great restaurants. We aren't holding a room block, but here are a few favorites nearby, all a short walk or quick rideshare away:

Getting Around

Milwaukee is easy to navigate. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is widely available, and the venues are a short drive apart. We recommend rideshare for the reception so you can enjoy the evening worry-free.

Ceremony Parking

The Basilica of St. Josaphat has a large parking lot on-site. Additional street parking is available on surrounding streets.

Reception Parking

The Pritzlaff building has nearby surface lots and street parking. We'll share specific parking details closer to the date.

Flying In

General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is about 15 minutes from downtown Milwaukee.

Our Favorite Spots

A few of our favorites: The Public Market, Saffron, and Lakeshore State Park.

Gifts

Your presence is the greatest gift — but if you'd like to give, our registry is here.
